In 2016, I founded Hermanas del Agua, the Puerto Rican chapter of the SisterCARE Alliance, to create a safe space for women and non-binary people to practice strategic self-care. It is important that we have equal educational opportunities that provide us resources to succeed in society.

I’ve been influenced and inspired by Black women. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to survive and thrive in this life.
